About Us
The Children’s Center of Cicero-Berwyn, (CCCB), is a private not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) registered charitable organization chartered in the State of Illinois. All center-based programs are licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
The CCCB serves more than 950 families in the Cicero, Berwyn, and surrounding communities. We provide educational, play-based childcare, full and half-day Head Start, and Preschool for All classrooms, and home-based, Child Development and Parenting Programs.
Our Philosophy
The CCCB provides a nurturing, inclusive, developmentally appropriate atmosphere for children, while supporting parents and caregivers in their critical role as their child’s first teacher.
We respect the child as a unique and special individual. We encourage families to help their children celebrate their culture, enjoy life, learn to accept themselves and others, and prepare them for academic success.
